In a bid to put smiles on faces of those who could not afford food items for the celebration of Christmas, Nigeria singer, Simi, has donated foodstuff to about 100 families in Lagos.Simi made the disclosure on Friday, December 23, 2016, via a video she posted on her official Instagram page,@Symplysimi.

She wrote, “Thank God for the success of this effort. God bless everyone that gave. May your pockets never run dry and may God bless you beyond your wildest imaginations. We were able to give foodstuff to about a hundred families (Give or Take) – My hope is that overtime, we can reach more people and put smiles on even more faces. Also, very importantly, my mum was so amazing and she helped me with most of the planning. I love u mama.”

The Instagram post was with the hashtag, #ASmileForChristmasWithSimi.
