A Yobe State man has reported stabbed his step-son to death two days after divorcing his mother.

According to Hausa News platform, Rariya, the incident happened on Tuesday in Potiskum area of the state.

It said the man, whose name was not given, attacked his step-son with a knife and stabbed him in the chest six times.

Wuzup Naija gathered that the woman and the boy had come to pack their belongings from the man’s house when they were attacked by the estranged husband.

The husband is currently in police custody and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
