SO SAD! Final year Lead City University student, one other die in ghastly motor accident [Photos and Video]

A final year student of Lead City University, Ibadan, identified as Daniel Ilesanmi, aka Smade, and one other person have been killed in a ghastly motor accident along Orita Challenge, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The incident which reportedly happened on Sunday involved a Mazda 6 car with registration number BDG 652 ET and an unregistered Ford SUV.

According to multiple media reports, Smade just bought his car three weeks before the unfortunate incident.

The news was also shared by a Facebook user, simply identified as Beatpluz. He wrote,

“Popular Lead City University Student, Daniel Ilesanmi, also known as Smade has been confirmed dead today in an automobile accident with multiple casualties.

“According to eyewitnesses at the scene, Smade was said to be driving along Mazda 626 Sport with plate number “Lagos BDJ-652ET” along the Challenge – Toll Gate Link, where he lost control around the Fresh FM corner, resulting to the car flipping severally in the air times, into the opposite lane acrashing into other vehicles.

“The accident claimed the life of one other person as another casualty is yet to be confirmed. The car which he recently purchased (3weeks), is currently a total write-off and his body has been transported to the Adeoyo Mortuary, along RingRoad Ibadan.

“Smade is in his final year studying Sociology in LCU and is popularly known for his portrait photography style and recently won the Awards for “Multimedia Practitioner of the Year” in the Lead City University Awards in April 2018.”

Some of his friends and classmates also took to their Facebook page to write touching tributes to him. One Menaldo Ojite wrote,

“You didn’t wait to show us how successful you are…

“Smade the goal scorer, You have always loved to play with me. You gave me a name “pastor” lolz..

“All because I always gave you sweet passes with the football to score your sweet goals. Four post game wasn’t sweet without you.

“You said to me that I was gonna make it when I play my football well, I could remember deep down, now tell me how will you know if I already made it…

“Now I needed you to boost me up, but I can’t just find you Smade. We are just 3 families who grew up together, fought together smile together, what do you want the Ojites and the Nzetes to do now, why didn’t you call us on the phone that you were leaving so soon…..

“I love you so so much smade. One thing I pray is that You make heaven.
