Soldier arrested for defying lockdown, carrying passengers (Video/Photos)
As the Nigerian government keeps recording new cases of the coronavirus, security operatives do their best to make sure that citizens comply with the lockdown and social distancing directive.
To the amazement of many, utmost compliance has been recorded in major parts of the nation with the World Health Organisation, praising the Nigerian government on measures it took to control the spread of the Coronavirus in its country.
However, a military personnel whose name as of the time of filing this report is unknown met his Waterloo in the hands of security operatives who apprehended him while he was driving.
The culprit is said to have been plying one way during the lockdown on kubuwa expressway was also seen without a face mask and also had passengers whom he was conveying to an undisclosed destination.
He was arrested and even though he kept pleading for mercy and forgiveness, the security personnel would have none of it as they placed more value on safety and life of Nigerians at large.
