A leading International Educational institution in Epe, Lagos State, Nigeria has vacancies in the following positions.



This is a high level administration and supervisory position.  The candidate must therefore be a meticulous and detailed planner and monitor.  The position covers the effective and disciplined use and deployment of trained, specialized staff, (catering supervisors, chefs, etc.), efficient control and movement of stocks in and out of the stores, maintenance of health and hygienic standards in the whole environment.  The candidate must have the ability to focus on the desired overall standard and make sure that the desired result is obtained and maintained.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies

    • Relevant qualification in Catering Management and Administration.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in Institutional Feeding with a track record of maintaining high standards of food service, health and safety.
    • In-depth working knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Understanding of institutional catering operations will be an advantage.
    • Excellent skills in large scale event planning.
    • Ability to set operating goals and objectives.
    • Ability to assess staffing requirements and ensure their optimal utilization.
    • In-depth knowledge of, and compliant with, best practices in Health, Safety and Quality Assurance Management.
    • Excellent communication, problem analysis, problem solving, decision making, crisis management and interpersonal skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices and appropriate catering management software.
    • Ability to motivate and maintain exceptionally high service delivery.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
    • High sense of commitment, responsibility and accountability.
  • High integrity and ethical standards.


Catering Supervisor is the Executive Head of each shift and responsible for carrying out the catering and organizational structure of work as laid down by the Director Catering Operations.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Relevant qualification in catering management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant catering management experience in a reputable institution will be an advantage.
  • Ability to provide input into planning balanced menus in line with standard nutrition requirements
  • Ensure hygienic storage of supplied food items in accordance with domestic and catering standards
  • Inspect quality of supplied food items to ensure compliance with agreed quality/safety standard
  • Excellent knowledge of menu planning, food safety requirements, kitchen maintenance and health and safety practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date catering financial and administrative records
  • Knowledge of leading practices in kitchen, health and safety and ability to comply with the institution policies and procedures
  • Good communication, problem analysis and problem solving skills, crisis management and supervisory skills
  • Must be a team player, flexible and adaptable
  • Good negotiation , influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • High integrity and ethical standards


Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Diploma or equivalent in Catering Management
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience with a demonstrated culinary expertise.
  • Must be an excellent, experienced and highly talented Chef
  • Must be hardworking, organized, creative and passionate about food preparation and service.
  • Must be compliant with highest standards of hygiene during food preparation and be committed to applying them at all times.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented, excellent physical condition and stamina
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
