Stop insulting others on my behalf, Adesua Etomi begs fans
Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi, has begged her fans to stop insulting others on her behalf, advising them to use their words wisely.
The Wedding Party’s actress had been heavily criticised by one Tosin Silverdam over a Vogue Magazine cover, where she appeared alongside three other women.
Sliverdam had said Etomi looked like a slave in the cover.
The criticism did not go well with the actress’s fans, who attacked the writer in droves.
Reacting to her fans’ attack on Silverdam, Etomi urged her fans to stop fighting her battles, adding that they should stop insulting others on her behalf.
She added that she appreciates their love and support.
She wrote on Twitter,
” As much as I appreciate the love and support, I really wish people won’t abuse others on my behalf. It’s not what I’m about. I’m learning to rise above it all and I hope I inspire others to do the same.
Our words will forever be imprinted, I hope we learn to use them wisely”.
