Such a disgusting being, Nigerian celebrities react to philandering allegation against COZA Pastor
As expected, Busola Dakolo’s interview with YNaija’s Chude Jideonwo where she exposed COZA Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo for raping her at 17 has sparked criticisms from Nigerian celebrities.
Some of the celebrities who have reacted to the philandering allegations by the wife of singer Timi Dakolo are taking a stand with one of them and calling out the cleric.
While some are commending Timi Dakolo and Busola’s bravery for coming out to speak out, others are calling for justice.
Timi Dakolo wrote on his Instagram page:
“CHRISTIANITY IS TELLING THE TRUTH EVERYONE IS AFRAID OF TELLING.. EVERYTHING ELSE IS RELIGION..#UNCHAINED#truth #unbroken”
Singer Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W reposted the video on his Instagram page and wrote:
“@busoladakolothis was so hard to watch.. I am so sorry you went through this nightmare. But I am SOOOO PROUD of you for sharing your truth.
“You didn’t speak up for yourself alone, but for all the voiceless victims who have suffered similar horrors at the hands of predators like him.
“Sending love, light and support your way. We are standing by you and @timidakolo.
“God bless, protect and strengthen you. Stay strong. You are incredible. #Unbroken#Unchained #iStandWithBusola

Adekunle Gold tweeted:
If people(especially people in power) keep walking when they commit crimes, nothing is going to change in our society.
Our leaders are failing us and we are failing ourselves if we don’t see it through that NO UNLAWFUL ACT SHOULD GO UNANSWERED TO. THERE HAS TO BE CONSEQUENCES!— AG (@adekunleGOLD) June 28, 2019
His wife, Simisola also wrote:
I’ve heard many tales about this man. One time, I was skeptical about who said it, cos to me, she was just as guilty. I’m ashamed of that.
Irresponsible people in power tend to abuse it, especially with ppl that are vulnerable. Healing has to start somewhere ?

Audu Maikori of Chocolate City tweeted:
A man is a man of God when he does the things that men of God do,not by just preaching them. The accusations against P. Bioidun are grave &must be investigated&prosecuted if required. Leaders cannot be allowed to wield their power over hapless followers esp not in the name of God

“My brother.. we stand with you and Busola. I’m sick to my stomach.. I don’t even know what to say. Busola.. Mehn.. you’ve shown ridiculous strength. He took something away from you only God can replace.
“What irks me is that he had the temerity to buy you a friggin drink and tell you that you should be glad it was him.. Kai..”
Popular OAP, Toke Makinwa also wrote on her IG page:
“This is our sister, let us lift her up in light. All I see is a strong, black woman who beat the odds to survive the horror and nightmare of abuse. I am so sorry you had to go through this, I am so sorry babe. Thank you for speaking out, thank you for unlocking the door for others to do the same.
“Your Pain is not in vain, your pain will break the chains for other people who are in the dark. Well done. You are beautiful, I applaud your courage, I salute you for doing this. Guys pls let us come together and love on her, let us lift her up in love and stand by her.
“Let us stand in her shoes and speak out against injustice. Let the perpetrator face the law. Lawyers in the building let’s do this right. To watch your abuser daily go on unrepentant is the worst thing that anyone can imagine and @busoladakolo needs justice. Let the system work this time.
God will mend your broken heart, God will heal your soul and protect you.
“Dear @timidakolo God bless you for standing and speaking out even when you faced heavy criticism, thank you for being strong for your other half, this hurts so much, so so much and I pray we get justice cc @opetodolapo”
