SUPER EAGLES! God says Nigeria will win 2018 World Cup if… – Apostle Tommy Yisa Aika

Published

The General Overseer of the Glory Church of Christ, Benin City has said God will help the Super Eagles of Nigeria win gold at the 2018 World, but President Muhammadu Buhari must give the team his full support.

Apostle Tommy Yisa Aika said God has promised that Nigeria would be the first African country to lift the World Cup.

The cleric, who gave certain instructions that must be strictly adhered to for the Eagles victory to come to pass in June, said no expatriate should lead the coaching crew.

He said,

“God wants to do the same thing for Nigeria through the Super Eagles in President Buhari’s time in office as president and there is no better time than at the forthcoming World Cup in Russia.

“If we fail to do it right to achieve the desired milestone this time around then we are going to suffer for another 60 years in football wilderness,” he stated.

Apostle Aika warned that the instruction must be adhered to for the prophecy to be actualised.

He said,

“God abhors disobedience. His instructions since 2001 when I started my relationship with the football authorities is that no expatriate should lead the Super Eagles coaching crew.

“This has been a message that I have over the years been passing to those in charge of running our football affairs. But they have been adamant just because of their lust for filthy lucre.

“When some acclaimed prophets have predicted that the national team stand no chance of qualifying for a tournament or winning a match I have come out to openly predict that with prayer support from me the team will come out victorious.”

“The records are there to speak for themselves and I have some notable football administrators who can bear witness to my claims. Some of those I have related with and I have had gentleman agreement with to employ my spiritual gift to support Super Eagles successful outings in major tournaments include erstwhile NFA General Secretary, Taiwo Ogunjobi; former president of the NFA, Dominic Oneya; the late Super Eagles coaches Stephen Keshi and Shuaibu Amodu among others.

“None of all these people has ever honoured their pledge running into millions of naira, but because of my patriotic zeal I keep doing what God has instructed me to do. I have since forwarded a petition on my grievances to the Department of State Services (DSS) in April 2016 but I have heard nothing from them.”

“Also, I will participate in the spiritual aspect of selecting three coaches and two financiers to be attached to the team. The process of the spiritual selection of the coaching crew will involve a girl not older than 7 years picking the three coaches and the two financiers through a lucky dip.

“One of the coaches would be given the responsibility of coaching the attackers. The second coach would be saddled with the responsibility of training the midfielders. Then the third will be assigned to training the defenders and goalkeepers.

“As per the two financiers one will be mandated to cater for the footballers while the other would be in charge of the officials. All these will be done in the presence of prominent personalities like the President, the Vice -President, Senate President, Speaker House of Representatives, Generals (Rtd) Theophilus Danjuma and Abdulsalam Abubakar. Of course, I and my team of prayer warriors would be doing the needful in the background,” he emphasised.
