Taraba COVID-19 cases rise to eight
The cases of COVID-19 in Taraba State has risen to eight from six earlier announced by the Nigeria Centre for disease control.
Taraba State Governor, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku announced the confirmation of the two more cases of Coronavirus infection in a statement issued in Jalingo.
According to the statement, the two cases are the latest confirmed by the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC to have tested positive after a laboratory investigation.
“The additional cases are from among the people already being quarantined at the NYSC Orientation Camp, near Jalingo.”
Our correspondent reports that fear has grip the residents of Taraba after the NCDC announced six cases of COVID-19 in the State on Sunday night.
The State is still under total lockdown as part of measures to check the spread of the virus in the State.
