Thank God you’re still alive, policemen allegedly tell lady knocked down by their car
A Nigerian lady has narrated her ordeal in the hands of the notorious policemen from the Ogudu police station in Lagos after she was allegedly knocked down by their vehicle.
The lady identified simply as Doris Jay said she was by the roadside waiting to mount a bike when the officers who were driving recklessly hit her and the motorcycle rider.
She took to her Instagram page to share a video of the injury she sustained from the accident alleging that the officers threatened her when she confronted them over their action.
“They said I should thank God I’m still alive and they sent me away threatening to shoot me,” she said.
She wrote on IG:
“I was standing at the roadside looking for a bike to go home, and a police car coming in a high speed came and hit me and the bike man… I rolled under their car, they didn’t even bother to come down of the car & rescue me out.
“I struggled on my own and came out under their car and they drove off, I took a cab and followed them to their station at Ogudu Ojota. On getting there they said I should thank God I’m still alive and they sent me away threatening to shoot me.”
