Following reports of a plot to impeach Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, Lagosians and other Nigerians have taken to social media to express their feelings.

The plot has been blamed on the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is reportedly in a rift with Ambode.

WuzupNaija, while quoting TheCable, had on Tuesday reported that 57 council chairmen had thrown their weight behind Tinubu’s candidate, Mr. Jide Sanwo-Olu. A move which portends bad omen for Ambode’s re-election bid, as the APC as adopted the direct primary system.

Reacting to the plot, Lagosians have expressed divergent views on social media with many calling on a break in the hold Tinubu supposedly have over Lagos politics.
