A video of a podium which collapsed during the People’s Democratic Party rally in Kebbi state is making the round on the internet.

The incident happened in Jeda Local Government Area of Kebbi State on Monday.

Most of the party’s top shots on the podium, including the governorship candidate, Isah Muhammad Galaudi, a former chief of staff to Bukola Saraki, fell off when the podium collapsed.

The video which has generated mixed reactions on Twitter and other social media platforms showed a party faithful praying for protection from the devil before the collapse.

Mr. Kayode Ogundemisi, a U.K based analyst and member of the Directorate of Media and Strategic Communication for the Presidential Campaign Team, posted the clip on his Twitter page said he prayed the PDP officials involved were okay.

He said “we may oppose @atiku but we wish you well. #ElectionisNotWar.”

“I hope members of @OfficialPDPNig involved in the mishap during the campaign podium disaster are okay. I pray they are all okay. We may oppose @atiku but we wish you well. #ElectionisNotWar.”

Meanwhile, in preparation of the forthcoming elections, party candidates have been intensifying their efforts to canvass for votes with many even making bogus promises as a plot to garner supporters.

This is a big lesson to all those PDPs that stole every money that comes their way. They should know that, they might be a victim of the impending doom. Hence, probably those in charge of constructing this podium looted some cash out of it.
