A student of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, Ajewole Riliwan, was on Monday hospitalized after crashing his car while being chased by some Special Anti-Robbery Squad officers in Sagamu.

Reports said the officers tagged the Microbiology student a “yahoo boy” and, therefore, chased him for possible harassment and extortion.

It was during the chase that Riliwan lost control of his car. The vehicle somersaulted multiple times, leaving Riliwan injured.

The officers fled the scene and the victim was only rescued by passersby.
