A mother and her three-year-old daughter have gone into hiding following threats by a dismissed soldier who allegedly raped the child.

Ukan Kurugh, a human rights activist who shared the incident on Facebook, said the little child was sexually assaulted by Okey Nna Emma on Tuesday night, 30th October 2018 at his residence in Mpape Asokoro Extension, Abuja.

The child and her mother, Ruth Ani, reportedly reside in an uncompleted building in the area.

The dismissed soldier was reportedly caught in the act by Ani.

Emma has, however, been threatening her that if she contacts the police, he would kill her and her daughter.

On Wednesday morning, when the little girl continued bleeding and the mom was forced to confront the suspect again. He, however, descend on her and beat her to stupor.

Reports say the woman and her child have gone into hiding over death threats from the former soldier.
