This little bonfire must stay kindled, Jim Iyke says after viral video of girl sent out of school over fees
Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has taken interest in the case of a little girl who was sent out of school because her parents were yet to pay her school fee.
The actor who was moved by the plight of the little girl took to his Instagram page to ask his followers to help him get the contact of the girl’s parents. From the post, it is believed that the actor may be joining other Nigerians who have indicated interest in helping the yet to be identified girl and her family.
Iyke wrote:
“Pls someone kindly DM this little girl’s parent’s number to me.
“This little bonfire must stay kindled.
“Thank u. ?”
The video of the girl went viral on social media on Thursday when she was filmed by a passer-by on the street as she head home after being sent out of school.
In the footage, the little girl was seen lamenting over her school’s unfair treatment to send her home when her parents would still pay the school fee.
