Published

Pained by the death of fellow American rapper, Nipsey Hussle, Snoop Dogg has said killing in the industry “got to stop”.

Snoop, an OG in the game, has experienced his share of hardship and pain. On 13 September 1996, he already lost one friend and collaborator in 2Pac Shakur.

In the wake of Nipsey Hussle’s tragic murder, Snoop took to Instagram to offer his prayers and condolences.

He wrote,

“It’s fucked up man,” says Snoop, sounding notably weary.

“I just want to send my prayers out to Nipsey Hussle, his family, to Lauren London and her family.

This is fucked up man. This is fucked up. Prayers out to the whole family.

This shit got to stop, man.”

The pair previously collaborated on Snoop’s Malice N Wonderland album, specifically the song “Upside Down.”
