Three injured, many cars damaged as gas explodes in Lagos Hotel

Many cars are reportedly damaged following a gas explosion that occurred at Four Point by Sheraton Hotel, Oniru, VI in Lagos state on Wednesday.

According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), three persons were injured in the incident.

Details of the incident are sketchy as at the time of filing this report.

A Twitter user, who claimed to be around the area, one Adeyemi Olalemi/@yemi4tweet, said at least 10 exotic cars were damaged.

He wrote,

Breaking: There is an explosion outside Four Points By Sheraton VI Lagos. Four people critically injured. In house Doctors at the Hotel are giving first aid treatment to the victims.

At least 10 exotic cars parked within and outside the premises of Four Point Sheraton Hotel have been damaged by the explosion.

Customers inside the are relieved to know it wasn’t a bomb explosion as the fear of Boko Haram is still palpable in Nigeria despite recent successes by the @HQNigerianArmy

The Explosion site has been cordoned off by the police.
