Thugs allegedly brutalise corps member in Mushin [Photos]

Some suspected thugs in Mushin allegedly assaulted a National Youth Service Corp member working as an ad-hoc staff for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC.)

He was allegedly beaten for demanding for N20,000 as opposed to the N5,000 given to him and other corp members.

According to one Olamidotun@dotun_e, who shared the post on his Twitter page the ad-hoc staff, identified as Ikuomola Adeleke was just fighting on behalf of the other corp members.

The Twitter user also alleged that his colleague was punched on the face in the presence of soldiers and policemen.

WuzupNaija reports that the viral video showed a bleeding NYSC youth corper surrounded by other corp members and onlookers.

In a series of photos and videos posted on Twitter, the corp member identified as Ikuomola Akerele was seen struggling with a crowd while his uniform dripped of blood.
