A woman and her lover have been arrested over the murder of her husband, one Sirajj Kawuma.
According to reports, 38-year-old Harriet Nassali hacked her husband to death with a knife on Sunday, 12 August 2018 in Gombe Division Wakiso District in Uganda.
She attempted to dispose of Kawuma’s remains by digging a three feet grave in their matrimonial bedroom with intention of burying him.

The mother of four was said to have committed the act to blossom her extramarital affairs with one Alex Kamusangi.
However, realising the gravity of her action, she decided to flee her home.
Her 13-year-old child alerted the neighbours, narrated what had transpired and thus immediately calling for police intervention.
One of her children told the police about a male friend who had grown so close to their mother days before their father was hacked to death. The male friend, identified as Kamusangi, led a group of investigating officers to Nassali’s hideout and both were arrested.
Upon questioning, the duo admitted to having had plans of eliminating the deceased so that they could blossom in their new love affair.
Further inquiries reveal that the deceased and his wife previously had misunderstandings as a result of a land procurement deal gone bad resulting in their separation.
