Today is another day, says driver fired by employer as he returns to duty the next day
The Commander of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command, DCP Tunji Disu has narrated an action by his dad’s driver that has left social media users in awe.
Disu took to his Twitter page @TunjiDisu1 on Thursday to share the story.
He said the Ghanaian driver was fired by his dad and he left the house that day without apologising which suggested that he had accepted his fate only to show up at his employer’s house the next day to resume to his former position as the driver, picked up the car keys and started his normal routine.
“Oga you sacked me yesterday because you were angry, today is another day,” was his response when he was asked why he returned.
Disu tweeted:
“Once my Dad sacked his driver. He left without apologizing. The following day he came back, took d keys and started washing the car. Dad asked him why he came back after being sacked. He said ‘Oga you sacked me yesterday because you were angry, today is another day
