Three Togolese arrested for entering Nigeria illegally
Three nationals of Togo have been arrested by operatives of the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) for entering Nigeria illegally.
Newsmen learnt that the suspects identified as Commando Kwasi, Eberivie Isiaq and a mother of one, Kemi Terivie escaped the border patrols from the Republic of Benin and travelled through Saki to Iseyin on Tuesday, April 28.
According to reports, they were arrested at Odo-Omu in Iseyin community of Oyo state after arriving in Nigeria for the new farming season.

This is coming after the federal government of Nigeria announced a total blockade of the country’s borders following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
