Toke Makinwa tells singles what to do on Valentine’s Day

Its nine days to the annual celebration of Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day and the buzz about the one-day event is one of the most talked about on social media.

Like other social media commentators, OAP Toke Makinwa has advised singles to pamper themselves because they deserve self-love.

Makinwa who had earlier said “she wants to fall so deeply in love, made the statement via her Twitter handle.

Toke said;

“Another Valentine and you are single? Val yourself, you deserve all the love you can give yourself. Send yourself flowers for being so badass and strong and beautiful. Change the narrative.” 

Twitter users have reacted to the OAP’s statement and hailed her for preaching self-love.

Recall that Reno Omokri, a social commentator and ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan’s spokesperson, advised single ladies to shun illicit sex on February 14.

Omokri said the devil uses Valentine’s day to deceive/confuse many that sex is love.
