Popular fashion icon and entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani, in celebrating her son’s sixth birthday, took to the streets.

She shared pictures of both of them on her Instagram page to show the world how she marked her son’s unusual birthday celebration.

She gave reasons as to why she celebrated her son in such an unusual way.

She wrote:

”For my son’s 6th birthday shoot, I made him walk in the shoes for the less for a day, we sold fruits to people and hawked in traffic, few people recognized us but didn’t care. He didn’t stop asking me questions when we got home. Anytime we drive past and I give them money, he’s always asking why this, why that. Now he understands. Life is not rosy all the time.”
