TRENDING VIDEO! Drama as Buhari’s minister, Ngige, urges electorate to vote for Fayose on Saturday
There was a mild drama during the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress, governorship rally in Ado-Ekiti, as the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, mistakenly urged people of the state to vote for the incumbent governor, Ayodele Fayose, on Saturday.
In the viral videos Ngige, while trying to urge the people of the state to vote for former governor, Kayode Fayemi said,
“Those who want Saturday to happen should raise your hand with PVCs, Mr President and leaders of our party, our people are ready.
“We thank the leaders of our party especially those from the South West for forgiving the Ekiti people for the mistake they made in 2014 so they won’t make that mistake again.
“If you marry two wives you will know the one that is good, Fayose is the good one, he cooks, gives his husband food and who is not troublesome, so you must bring back Fayose on Saturday.”
However, the video showed the moderator of the rally tapping Ngige in an apparent bid to correct him.
The two major players in the governorship race are Fayemi and the incumbent deputy governor, Kolapo Olusola, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
