Twitter is buzzing over release of James Ibori, we went to find out why; here is what we got
The report that ex-Delta state governor, Dr James Onanefe Ibori, has regained freedom from the UK prison where he was sentenced to a 13-year jail term over money laundering charges is exciting some set of Nigerians.
Although the former governor has been set free, he cannot leave for Nigeria just yet as some formalties have to be made to complete his extradition to the country.
But the people from Ibori’s region have reportedly burst into series of frenzy ever since the report about his release was made public and this has infuriated a lot of Nigerians who believe that a criminal should not be celebrated.
The aggrieved citizens of the country took to the social media to express their unreserved angst against those who decided to celebrate Ibori.
The way Youths are celebrating the freedom of James Ibori from Prison is the reason we must start training Children. My Generation is worse.

Still wondering why Abacha is still revered in some parts of North? Don’t look further than Ibori. They’ll be celebrated, no matter what.

When the queen and the UK minister were discussing about how corrupt Nigeria was you thought they were stupid. See how Ibori is celebrated

Lesson from Ibori’s release today: Nigerians love corrupt leaders. And Nigeria gets the leaders they deserve. Corruption is here to stay!

People have really turned James Ibori to Robin Hood.
Someone that stole from the poor to give to himself they’ve remixed the bants.— Abike (@Jollz) December 22, 2016
Ibori ‘ll be more patronized than GEJ when he returns. The Ex-convict made Governors, Legislators & Criminals from a prison cell in UK.
