There is a popular belief that most house owners are troublesome while just a few among them are calm and accommodating.

From your first encounter with them when searching for an apartment, through the time you spend living in the apartment, it is not always a very cool experience with many house owners.

This is why many prefer to rent apartments where the landlord is not a resident.

While many have claimed that landlords can be annoying, living in a house with a landlady has been adjudged as a hellish experience.

Nigerians on social media are sharing their experiences living in a home owned by a woman and the stories are just hilarious and mind boggling.

Some have revealed that, even though their male counterparts are also troublesome, they prefer to live in a house owned by a man. Their reason? They don’t want to be enmeshed in daily drama with their landlady.

A Twitter user who shared her experience said her landlady rented part of her two-bedroom apartment to a church. You know what that means? She’s living with a noisy neighbour.

She wrote:

It’s better to have a Landlord than a LandLady. My LandLady rented me part of a two-bedroom flat. And rented the sitting room to a church. These people have used prayers to scrid all the walls of the house. Male & female Friends have zeroed my house completely ?

In another tweet she added:

My Landlady once told me to stop washing clothes in my bathroom, so her soak-away pit doesn’t get full. She said I should be taking the water outside gate. I don tire

Another Twitter user Cleopatra Jessica also wrote:

“My landlady stopped talking to me so I went for confrontational peace, this woman started mentioning what I dunno.

“1. That I went to buy water elsewhere while she sells(mind you I bought from distributors cos I unusually buy in large quantity for my consumption).
