Twitter Nigeria is experiencing a ‘very good start’ to the beginning of a new month. It’s been a very dry week on the micro-blogging site, but events on Friday have lightened up the platform.

As expected, a little spark turns to an inferno, it all started with a tweet from one ‘Captain Charisma’ who asked male Twitter users to share the ‘Red Flags’ they saw in ladies that made them froze out the lady.

He tweeted:

The tweet sparked the usual ‘gbas gbos’, hilarious reactions and rekindled Twitter war following the experiences shared by men.

The reactions have placed Red Flag at the top of Twitter trends in Nigeria.

While the bants are flying around, a particular young man became another trending topic from the Red Flag trend after a lady shamed him for earning low salary at United Bank for Africa (UBA) despite being a first-class graduate.

Apparently, the man identified as Seyi had also tweeted about his Red Flag experience, his tweet fell on the wrong side as a lady who seems to know him fired a subliminal tweet at him to mock him.

The lady @juiciestofjays tweeted:

“You said you graduated with a first class but you’ve been working in UBA as contract staff since 2017, still waiting on that 80k to upgrade to 120 but you can complain about someone’s wig? Face the one that’s doing you Seyi.”

The tweet sparked hilarious and emotional reactions on Twitter but users are also saying prayers for Seyi, praying he gets a better job or a confirmation at UBA after he was shamed by the lady.

He tweeted:

“Life will humble her,” a Twitter user said.
