U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles qualify for Round of 16 after 1-1 draw against Ukraine
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the Round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland following their 1-1- draw against Ukraine on Thursday night.
The Nigerian U-20 team qualified as best losers with four points.
The Flying Eagles fell 2-0 to the United States in their second match despite their flying start when they mauled Qatar 4-0.
Meanwhile, in the other group match, USA defeated Qatar 1-0 and finished second in the group with six points, a point behind group leaders Ukraine.
