UAE strongly condemns Boko Haram attack on Auno
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned the attack by Boko Haram insurgent that killed several people and injured numerous others in Borno State on Sunday.
Recall that Boko Haram insurgents attacked Auno community close to Maiduguri on Sunday evening and killed 30 people, abducted women and children while many were left injured as vehicles were also burnt.
In a statement, the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation underscored the country’s utter condemnation of this criminal act and its firm rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of religious and human values and principles.

The Ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of this heinous crime and its wishes for a speedy recovery for all of the injured.
