UNHOLY ACT! Quranic teacher, 41, videotaped while raping eight-year-old pupil in Kano
A 41-year-old Quranic teacher in Kano, identified as Aminu Musa, has been arrested for allegedly defiling his eight-year-old pupil.
The crime was allegedly committed at the residence of the victim where he was contracted to teach the victim (name withheld) and her elder sister how to recite the Holy Qur’an.
The spokesman, Kano police command, S P Magaji Musa Majia who confirmed Musa’s arrest.
He said the crime was committed on Tuesday, November 20th, at around 5:30pm during their routine Quranic lesson hours.

Majia said the suspect was caught pants down by the elder sister of the victim before he was handed to the police.
He said the victim’s sister had also presented to the police the video recordings of the crime scene as evidence against the suspect.
“In his confessional statement he (suspect) admitted that he was tempted into the crime when the girl asked him to assist her to write some portions of the Holy Quran on her slate; in the process of doing that he started curdling her breast and eventually removed her cloth and had a carnal knowledge of her” police said.
Majia said the girl was taken to the hospital where penetration was confirmed by the experts. He added that the command is going on with further investigations after which the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution.
