UNIBEN mourns 500-level student who died in Abule Ado gas explosion
The management of University of Benin (UNIBEN) has commiserated with the family of late Miss Claire Nwobodo, a 500-level student of the institution who died in last Sunday’s gas explosion in the Abule Ado, Amuwo Odofi Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State.
Claire Nwobodo was among the victims recorded in the tragedy.
The university’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Dr Benedicta Ehanire quoted the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lillian Salami, and the entire management as “praying God Almighty to grant her (Claire) eternal rest”.
The statement added that late Claire was a 500-level student of the faculty of pharmacy.
