Unilag: Celebrities storm Dr Helen Paul’s convocation ceremony [Photos]
Some Nollywood celebrities, close friends and family attended the convocation ceremony of comed nne Helen Paul, who was awarded her PhD degree by the Senate of the University of Lagos on March 8/03/2019.
The excited comedienne who bagged a doctorate degree in Theatre Arts was full of joy as she appreciated her friends who graced the occasion.
Celebrities like Uti Nwachukwu, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Eku Edewor, JARA family came out to celebrate the comedienne.

In a previous post, the comedian and actress had congratulated some of her classmates for attaining the milestone.
She wrote,
“Congratulations in advance to all of us…
“Tomorrow will definitely be Great for us all and make a new dawn for us all in Jesus name.
“Special thanks to University of Lagos, staffs and non-teaching staffs for giving us this great opportunity, Creative Arts department, We pray to make you proud everywhere in the world.”
Recall that Helen Paul had revealed that she started off as a receptionist but she is now a PhD holder.
Meanwhile, a 77-year-old female retired worker was among the 1,008 students of the Faculty of Education, University of Lagos, who were awarded first degree on Tuesday at the institution’s 2017/2018 Convocation Ceremonies.
The stand-up comedian, known as Tatafo, gained her popularity with a voice range that makes her sound like a child.
Helen received a bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts in 2010 and a master’s degree in 2012, from the University of Lagos.
In addition, she has Masters degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration (MBA and MPA) from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).
She also has certifications from other institutions, including a “Certificate in Media Enterprise” from the School of Media and Communications, Pan-African University, and a “Basic Presentation Certificate” from the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
