Unless Man City sack me, I’m not going to Juventus – Guardiola

Published

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola denied speculation he’ll be leaving the Premier League for a stint with Juventus after Saturday’s 3-1 win over Watford, telling reporters he will honour his contract with the Sky Blues.

Pep Guardiola has refuted claims from Italy’s Radio CRC that he’s verbally agreed to take over Juventus.

“I have two more years and moving is impossible unless they sack me,” the Manchester City manager said on Saturday, as reported by The Telegraph’s Sam Wallace.

“I will stay two more years or more. I’m not going to Juventus in (the) next two seasons.”

The links were ignited when Il Giornale journalist Luigi Guelpa said on the Italian airwaves that Guardiola had reached an agreement with the Old Lady on a four-year contract. His deal at Manchester City runs until the end of the 2020-21 Premier League campaign.
