VANDALS! Millions of naira lost as pipeline fire razes cars, houses at Abule Egba
A pipeline fire on Wednesday morning destroyed several properties at Abule Egba in Lagos State, WuzupNaija has gathered.
Eyewitnesses claimed that the fire was caused by activities of pipeline vandals.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident which occurred at Oko Oba road, around Tipper Garage, Agege, resulted from oil spillage from a tanker.
The fire was said to have started at 3.30am.
As of the time of this report, the number of fatalities cannot be ascertained.
Motorists have been urged to find alternative routes.
Officers of the Lagos State Fire Service are currently on ground trying to battle the flames to prevent it from spreading to adjoining buildings as well as the nearest petrol station.
