Members of Ugandan businessman, Ivan Semwanga’s Rich Gang on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, threw mourners in shock when they poured expensive champagne in his grave before burial.
They popped bottles of champagne on his grave and threw bundles of money at his graveside after he was laid to rest.
The Ugandan tycoon was born four decades ago and was famous for his flamboyant lifestyle. Semwanga enjoyed a ten-year love bliss with Ex-wife Zari and the couple had three sons.
Ivan Semwanga’s investments were said to be largely based in South Africa, comprising of tens of education institutions.
He once tweeted about the secret to his silky skin, saying, “Since am Rich Gang CEO, I only use natural Artesian water to shower with.
“New #FijiWater special delivery for my shower purpose.
“Money is good, taking a shower with Fiji Water, sitting on Ac 24/7, eating gud, having money in my pocket 24/7 is the result of this smooth skin of mine.
“Try my secret n see what happens #RichSkin #HighMaintenanceSkin,” Ivan Semwanga.”
The group, popular in Uganda and South Africa for its expensive lifestyle, gave a befitting send-off in honour of the deceased in a fashion that left mourners amazed.
As a great show of wealth, the floor of the white and black tiled grave was filled with denominations of Ugandan shillings, South African Rands and US dollars.
A video shared by Uganda’s Daily Monitor newspaper showed the gang members unmoved as the crowd jeered at the way they splashed money into the grave.
