You have no right to tell me where to sit in church, Warri boy rants at neighbour [Video]

Warri boy

There is a way kids and even adults who live Warri in Delta State speak the pidgin English that makes it sound appealing and special to the ears.

Remember the viral video of Success the school girl sent home from school for not paying her school fee? Many of those who shared the video in 2019 did so because of the strong pidgin and her accent.

To many who don’t live in that part of Nigeria, hearing Warri people speak ‘wafi’ as they call it, gives a sort of soothing relief to the ears.

A video of another Warri boy has emerged on social media showing moment the boy was ranting at his nosy neighbour for always ‘monitoring’ him.

In the video shared on social media, the boy was seen standing outside a church berating his neighbour for telling him to go to the children church.

According to the boy, the neighbour was fond of monitoring him and he seems to have had enough which led to his outburst.

I come church she come dey tell me where I go sit down, no be anywhere where my body do me I go sit down?

“For compound na so e go dey do, she go dey monitor me, like say na you be my mama.”

The social media user who shared the video wrote:

This happened yesterday in Warri. The boy with a stick and the girl in black holding a cane are neighbours.

“They went to church together and she told him to go and sit in the children section but he refuses saying the girl is always monitoring his life which led to a fight.

“He insists she doesn’t have the right to tell him where to sit.”
