We didn’t scam anyone, MMM fires back at popular blogger
Popular Russian ponzi scheme, MMM which took Nigeria by storm has slammed a popular blogger who described it as fraud.
MMM which became popular in Nigeria last year for first offering investors new life and later throwing them off balance by freezing there accounts replied social media guru and blogger, Japhet Omojuwa who called the scheme out as successfully scamming supposed intellectuals in the country.
“MMM scammed Yahoo Boys, scammed politicians and scammed native doctors. You gotta give credit to MMM. They cleaned out,” Omojuwa wrote on Twitter.
In reply, MMM said it had warned people before they invested, so it didn’t scam anyone.
“You are very wrong! MMM didn’t scam anyone. Take your time to read about MMM Ideology & Warnings via http://www.nigeria-mmm.net Thank you,” MMM fired back.

MMM had stated earlier that the scheme was for people who had extra money they were not using urgently.
However, despite the warning and several other warnings by banks and financial experts, people had invested their life savings and some had even borrowed heavily to invest in the ponzi scheme.
When the scheme was frozen last year, many people had run into trouble with their creditors while some had taken desperate measures including committing suicide to escape the consequences.
