WE WERE GIVEN DIRECTIVE! DSS bars Journalists from covering Atiku’s arrival at the Asaba International airport
Officials of the Department for State Security has reportedly barred journalists from covering the arrival of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at the Asaba International airport, Delta State.
The ex-VP, who is pursuing his 2019 presidential ambition on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party is visiting the state to consult Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his ambition.
Reports said a yet to be identified head of DSS at the airport told journalists that, “we are under instruction not allow Journalists into the Airport to cover the arrival of Atiku.
“All Journalists should go to Government House to wait; they gave us directive to bar journalists so that they cannot give a counter directive without letting us know.
