WE WILL MISS YOU! Jide Kosoko, Iyabo Ojo, Yomi Fabiyi, others mourn ‘Omoge Campus’

Various Nollywood celebrities have taken to social media to express shock over the death of their colleague, Aisha Abimbola, popularly known as Omoge Campus.

The popular Yoruba actress, died in a Canadian hospital on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

Abimbola’s death has thrown many into shock especially her close colleagues and fans. Some of the actors posted photos and videos of movie clips the late Omoge Campus featured in.

Some penned touching tribute in memory of her.

MY TRIBUTE: There was a time it was OMOGE CAMPUS & YOMI, we waka oh. You believed so much in me. You know my weakness and you always avoid it. You came to feature in METOMI. You arrived on time and told the PM that you aborted an important event because you don’t want to offend me cos I give my all for others too(Thanks for your kind words). You didnt even wait to collect your envelope. In your words ” I have come to pay back part of your good deeds to me Yomi”. When I had no car in 2014, aunty Aisha will say ” Yomi, drop me at home, go with the car and bring when convinient or I call you when needed( I am sorry, only few people can do that). Understanding po with Isale Eko Voice ha ha ha ?. Our ONLY quarell was because I resigned from TGMA and didnt carry you along hence u stayed and we gapped ourselve. Though u neva cease telling the likes of SB & KA and co that I made you join TGMA. When you heard about my mother’s demise, you reached out. Your words “only a wicked & evil soul will ignore som1 once close like u at this time no matter what”. You then said u miss our closeness & my ijogbon and laughed. Until I saw you last in Ojota inward Maryland traffic. You kept driving closer so we can gist and laugh. I was worried about your sharp weight loss. All you said was “Ayome, ose oko mi, I know you care, pray for me”. I did aunty. Expose me and I release you is the name of sickness, can folks learn pls. I still saw you in my movie METOMI yesterday and offered silent prayers not knowing I WON’T SEE YOU AGAIN. THANK GOD YOU MADE THAT CALL ?. No vex for me, some dudes on cheap drugs & HEREDITORY ENVY maliciously turned my selfless service of welfare & duty of care in d industry to immoral or negative exploits on SM. None, including u defended me. THAT IS THEIR CURSE & BURDEN ANYWAY, DEY REAP WHEN THEY LEAST EXPECT cos NO SANE PERSON ENTERTAIN OR JOKE WITH SUCH SENSITIVE ISH. D one they are addicted to, they hve no redemption in sight. Aishat Abimbola, you sure deserve our last respect with sometin befittng.
