A popular Anglican priest in Imo State, Rev. Canon Uche Chinamerem on Saturday did the unthinking when he decided to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day Anniversary at a dumpsite in Owerri.

Rev. Chinamerem, who is the priest of the Anglican Diocese of Owerri, was photographed at the dump site enjoying a drink with an unidentified man.

When asked why he took the decision, the priest said he wanted to point attention to the level of filth in Igboland so that the people of Owerri would change their attitude.
