WELCOME TO OUR GREAT PARTY! Ben Murray-Bruce tells Dino Melaye
The Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency, Ben Murray-Bruce, has welcomed Dino Melaye into the People’s Democratic Party.
Bruce said the PDP will treat the embattled lawmaker well adding that no trauma or intimidation will befall him.
Melaye had arrived Wednesday’s plenary in a neck brace and sat at the opposition wing with members of the PDP.
While he is yet to make an official statement about decamping from All Progressives Congress Murray-Bruce, on his Twitter, wrote:
“Great to have @dino_melaye at the @NGRSenate today and hearty welcome to our great party, @OfficialPDPNig. We will treat you good – no trauma or intimidation whatsoever”.
However, some Twitter users aired their views on the rumoured defection.
One Twitter user, Mr. Yarima said “Why will you not welcome him. The house where all looters are welcome. Gradually we are separating bad ones from our party”.

I knew it!! since the day you started making contradicting statement that Dino is on crutches whereas Dino is claiming he has broken neck, one has to wonder if Dino is using the crutches on his neck or you mistook broken neck for broken leg or that is just a @OfficialPDPNig thing

So Dino is planning to go back to his vomit? I don’t know how some of these politicians sleep at night.
Complete lack of shame or integrity. Kai ??

Good riddance to bad rubbish. You can’t be in a ruling party and be playing opposition.

Stop misleading the people, Dino did not defect to PDP, although I want him to as well as Shehu Sani and Saraki.
