We’ll remain committed to Palestinian cause until freedom is attained, Nigerian group says

A Muslim group, Nigerian Friends of Palestine, on Saturday, held a solidarity match in support of Palestinian anniversary of “Match of Return”, to demand for the return of Palestinians expelled from their homes and land by Israeli.

Founder of the group, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, who is also the National President of Jama’at Taawunil Muslimeen said:

“Today, we are defending a just cause and we need not to be Palestinians or Muslims to do so.

“We only need to be human to fight for this cause and we will continue to do so. This is our stand.”

The group’s coordinator, Ustadh Abu Bakr Imran, reiterated the support of the group to the cause of Palestinian and promised to always make the voice of Palestinians heard across the country.

The protest match which took place in Iwo, Osun state, was attended by students, human right activists, women and all love of justice.
