So I was in a meeting with friends at a bar in Benue and dis young boy bounced in with so much confidence sat and ordered for a bottle of beer…

“As an African man that I am, it was difficult for me to ignore coz the question I asked myself was what if he was my kid brother??

“Then I asked him how old he was he smiled and said, brother, why u ask, I then replied saying coz u look too young to be here and he then said am 13years old but av bin coming here with my uncle since I was 11…

“In shock, I asked again how he got the money then his countenance changed like I was asking too many questions..So i walked back to my sit videotaped how he ordered for four more bottles, swinging his legs, watched his match and digested it all with a coke bottle ????…

“Now am really getting scared for this generation coz we don’t pay attention to dis kids anymore. Parents, please look out for your kids, the friends they keep and the things you do in dia presence…

“For the youths, our love for money shouldn’t make us ignore our morals…”

@callmiifexco: This guy didn’t beg you for money to drink. He didn’t misbehave during or after drinking. He didn’t disturb you. It may not seem right though if truly he’s 13. But again, everything should not be on social media. There’s a way you could help this guy that posting it on Instagram. Besides…. Is it a sin to drink?? Just asking, I didn’t insult you, please nobody should take this personal. Just my 1Naira?

@youngestpapi: Bro, you should have stood up and walk that boy out of the bar, take him home and deal with the bar management or call the Police on them rather than videotaping and giving commentary we need to act and be a doer of the society and not just a watcher ,not attacking just my opinion

@skide_ailes: Haaa! Even me sef that is 17 years old,I have never before taking alcohol ? ’cause when a did my research I got to find out that it does more harm than good, and besides he is too young to ingest alcohol because the effects will more severe more than that of an adult.
Whenever I get tempted to take in alcohol I just remind myself that I have other reasonable things to do with my brain, other than destroying it with alcohol ?.
#please. _saynotounderagealcoholingestion?? That bar should be closed down pls??

@michaelyaaya: The dude even mixed the drinks not like he was on one particular brand.. Bros this kids now na only God fit help them o.

@queen__oyinade na to call someone to flog him and send him home. God save this coming.

@david_echefu: The law doesn’t stop an underage person from buying alcohol, it stops people from selling alcohol to underage people. Next time, hold the bartenders accountable

@djgosporella: Why are they serving him. No rules anymore????

@johnsangclothings: I swear the barman is not good well for selling beer for young boy.

@hilary_yung: Who sell alcohol to an underage??‍♂️

@davis_mint: This shouldn’t be new to y’all!

@iamkristalker_official: I also saw some small children at a bar in Makurdi the last time I was there. Some of them were even smoking. We need serious prayers in these our generation. ?

@princeokoko: Who is that bar man that cannot see that he was a child? People need to start taking responsibility in this country. If to say u talk anything em for go call those small small buys make they com beat u. Thank God u kept ur cool.

@grammy92212: This is happening world wide parents making the youth to grow up to fast because of the need to make money, then sending the youth out to do the same… Cause and affect. Todays Society is failing our youth, thus in return makes the parents fail the child.
