A Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to a video showing the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, asking the people of Ekiti to vote for PDP in Saturday election, saying it was God’s handiwork.
The former governor of Anambra State had made the mistake at the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress, governorship rally in Ado-Ekiti, the state’s capital.
FFK posted saying:
“Fayose is the better wife.He cooks very well. Mr. President when Fayose cooks the food is sweet. So people of Ekiti you must bring Fayose back on saturday“- Chief Chris Ngige, Hon. Min. of Labour, Ado Ekiti,10th July 2018.
When God is with you even your enemies speak for you.
In the viral videos Ngige, while trying to urge the people of the state to vote for former governor, Kayode Fayemi said,
“Those who want Saturday to happen should raise your hand with PVCs, Mr President and leaders of our party, our people are ready.
“We thank the leaders of our party especially those from the South West for forgiving the Ekiti people for the mistake they made in 2014 so they won’t make that mistake again.
“If you marry two wives you will know the one that is good, Fayose is the good one, he cooks, gives his husband food and who is not troublesome, so you must bring back Fayose on Saturday.”
However, the video showed the moderator of the rally tapping Ngige in an apparent bid to correct him.
The two major players in the governorship race are Fayemi and the incumbent deputy governor, Kolapo Olusola, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
