Why I left Manchester United in 2012 – Pogba
Paul Pogba has revealed he left Manchester United in 2012 because Sir Alex Ferguson wasn’t picking him.
Pogba doubled his money with a move to Juventus, where he was initially handed £30,000-a-week.
United were reluctant to meet that salary, but the 27-year-old has now said his departure was nothing to do with a contract dispute.
He said:
“My brother, the United fan, told me he was really angry, even more than me, when I didn’t play. He told me, ‘No, go. You can play in this team. If they don’t want you here, go somewhere else. They will see’.”
