The Delta State Police Command has arrested a 74-year-old man, Godwin Agada for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl at Obiaruku in Ukwuani Local Government Area of the state.

A police medical report also confirmed that the septuagenarian bicycle repairer raped the young girl, Punchng.com reported.

Pa. Agada, whose bicycle repairing workshop is located along old Obiaruku-Abraka road in Obiaruku, forcefully penetrated the victim’s private organ after luring the teenager with N200 to his workshop.

The suspected rapist allegedly lured the victim through the help of her 14-year-old friend identified as Ebele, who the septuagenarian claimed he had also been sleeping with at his workshop.

But the father of the 12-year old victim who observed her daughter’s painful movement reported the matter to the police after the teenager disclosed to her father of the defilement by septuagenarian, leading to his arrest.

Responding to questions while being paraded before newsmen at the state police headquarters in Asaba, Pa. Agada confessed to the crime and said he did that just to satisfy his sexual orgies.

The suspect, married with children, who also agreed to have slept with the 14-year-old girl, said he did not defile the girls for any spiritual purpose and also did not take any sex enhancement drugs to boost his libido before penetrating girls.

The Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, SP Celestina Kalu said doctor’s report confirmed the defilement.

She added that the 74-year old suspect committed the act because the two teenage girls were always coming to his workshop.
