A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has told one of his social media followers how long he would wait if he is expecting him to announce his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Fani-Kayode had taken to his Twitter page to lament the planned defection of former Ogun state governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel from the PDP to the APC, when a Twitter user identified as Aliyu Abubakar (@aliyu_as1) replied to his tweet, saying he is waiting for FFK to also announce his defection to the ruling party.

FFK wrote:

“For the 1st DG of @atiku’s PCO and his closest confidante in SW to dump @officialPDPNig and join @OfficialAPCNg before the conclusion of Atiku’s election petition is sad.For a man that was gunning to be SGF in an Atiku govt. to join Buhari after Atiku was rigged out is tragic!”

The Twitter user replied to his tweet and said:

“We are waiting for same announcement from you. “…..for the betterment of my people, i femi fani-Kayode formally dropped @officialPDPNig and join @APCNigeria. Nigerian politicians with their cross-carpeting mind.”

The former Minister replied him saying:

“You will wait forever.”
