A Nigerian woman has taken to Twitter to share her experiences with religion and why she has given up on it.

The Lady, simply identified as Your Ancestor/@morewunmie on Twitter, wrote on the microblogging platform that her sister was sacked just days before Christmas because of her religious sect.

She wrote,

Is the reason why we are where we are!!!

A particular religion with different sects.?‍♀️

Too much hypocrisy!!
Too many religious people who’re nothing close to being Godly.
I’m done?‍♀️.

Religion religion religion.

What happened to love we all preach about in our various religion. The way this our world poverty capital people carry religion on their head like “Olajumoke’s bread”.

Even the foreigners who brought the religion are in awe of our stupidity?‍♀️?‍♀️.

How can you allow your church members interfere in your personal business ??
Are you high?

I’m still trying to understand why we have different sect in a religion yet we claim to serve the same God??
One sect see themselves as Deputy Jesus, meanwhile looking at the other sect like Devil’s Advocate ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️.

I’m just tired of y’all.

How can you sack your best staff (headmistress) because your church members are not comfortable with her. How!!!!!!!!??
A qualified teacher, with remarkable years of teaching experience. Who parents and students appreciate her effort
for setting high educational standards

Their excuse, “she’s an Ap____c and we’re D____r L__e members, so she isn’t one of us?”

Is it not the Jesus Christ y’all call upon??
