Zamfara records first two coronavirus victims
Zamfara state has for the first time recorded two Coronavirus victims.
In a broadcast to the people of the state, Governor Bello Matawalle said, he has received a report from NCDC last night that, two people of the state have been infected with the Coronavirus disease.
The Governor has therefore advised the people of the state to take more proactive measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
Matawalle said his administration has already banned all gatherings including the Ramadan night prayers, calling on the people of the state to abide by the rules.
He stressed that the state has already constructed two isolation centres and also purchased all relevant equipment for the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
