MR PRESIDO! Mixed reactions trail Sowore’s ‘Nigeria will be exporting Indian hemp’ statement
Nigerians have reacted to the “Nigeria will be exporting Indian hemp” statement made by a presidential hopeful, Omoyele Sowore, in a video which has since gone viral.
Many expressed mixed reactions on their Twitter page and argued their point with other users who held contrary opinions.
Some also got very upset and used very derogatory themes to describe the 47-year-old human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner and founder of online news agency Sahara Reporters.

In the video Sowore explicitly stated that the best Indian hemp better known as “weed” are grown in Ekiti State, adding that countries are making billions from the sale/export of marijuana.
Sowore further stressed that “we have to start taking care of our weed [Igbo], such that we can also contribute to the GDP of the world”.

Meanwhile, some Twitter users have hailed him and also stated that the commodity is one of the fastest growing in the stock markets in the USA.
